For Inspiration: “A Volta” by Trio Mocotó

The singer, instrumentalist, and arranger Marco Antonio Gonçalves dos Santos died recently at the age of 68.

After suffering a cardiac arrest and spending a week hospitalized in a hospital in Botucatu (SP), the singer, instrumentalist, and arranger Marco Antonio Gonçalves dos Santos, known as Skowa, of the Mocotó Trio and the band Skowa e a Máfia, which was successful in the 1980s, died this Thursday (13), at the age of 68.

Marco Antônio Gonçalves dos Santos, better known as Skowa, had been admitted to a hospital in Botucatu since last week, after suffering a cardiac arrest. He was still recovering from the sequelae of COVID-19 pandemic.
