Self-Portrait: De Post

The Oud Postgebouw in Ghent, located on the Korenmarkt and the Graslei, has been transformed into the ‘De Post’ shopping centre and luxury hotel ‘1898 The Post’. The renovated building retains its industrial character and offers fashion, interior design, beauty, and dining options.

The Oud Postgebouw is a monumental building in Ghent, located on the Korenmarkt and on the Graslei, next to the Sint-Michielshelling.

The richly decorated building, which was built using several styles, has been turned into the ‘De Post’ shopping centre and luxury hotel ‘1898 The Post’. Remember to look up at the beautiful 52-metre clock tower!

It looks beautiful on the inside as well.  The historic building has been renovated, but has not lost its industrial character. You can go there for fashion, interior design and beauty as well as for a nice lunch, brunch, or breakfast.
