Enterprises in China are expected to use more mobile applications to ride the growth in various mobile services and features as well the high speed of 3G networks because these represent the future:

“Mobile phones are penetrating into the enterprise market, and these devices and related services have become IT assets,” Felix Liu, analyst at IDC China.

In 2010, more than 1 billion people use mobile applications, and the figure will hit 1.3 billion in 2013. The Asia-Pacific region, excluding Japan, will account for 62 percent of the total user base by then, versus 59 percent this year, according to International Data Corp, a United States-based IT consulting firm.
