One of the greatest Brazilian Contemporary Musicians, the guitarist Yamandú Costa, brings to Shanghai World Expo the best of Brazilian instrumental music “Chorinho” in the show “Tribute to Choro”, scheduled for the evening of September 12, at the America Square (Area C, near the flag Brazilian and beside the Canadian flag).
Yamandú Costa with his 7-string guitar (accompanied by Alessandro Kramer on the accordion, Rogério Caetano on the 7-string guitar steel, and Pedro Amorim on mandolin), pays homage to the great composers of this typically Brazilian musical genre, like Pixinguinha, Radames Gnattali, João Pernambuco and Ernesto Nazareth, as well as play some of his own work.
