Autodesk is helping cities create their next generation base maps as 3D interactive models with technology made possible with the recent acquisition of 3DGeo. These visualizations can explain urban developments and their implications to both city officials and their residents in a new way.
Directions Magazine invited Doug Eberhard, Geoff Zeiss, and David Kingsbury to talk about Autodesk’ Digital Cities initiative, and 3D interactive models can help government model, visualize, and realize a sustainable future for cities.
