Gaming in China: online gaming exports exceeded 70 million US Dollars in 2008
In 2008, over 30 types of China's online games were exported to overseas markets, which covered over 20 countries and regions such as North America, Europe, Japan and Southeast Asia. The total value of online gaming exports reached 71.78 million USD, an increase of 30.5 percent year-on-year. Media in China: Chinese film and TV program exports break 300 million US dollars mark
In 2007, China's total export volume of film and TV programs broke 2.1 billion yuan mark (nearly 310 million US dollars), according to the information from the 2008 China International Film and TV Programs Exhibition held in Beijing recently.
