The Business Insider recently published a bar graph comparing the internet activities of United States of users with those of Chinese users. While some online behaviors, like pursuing an online education or watching online video (one in the same, really), were statistically similar between the two counties, other activities were far more common in one country than the other, revealing some fundamental differences in Chinese and American tendencies.

According to these statistics, two general statements seem to hold true – while the Chinese spend their time communicating with one another, Americans like to use the internet to find various ways to handle their money. The question is, do Americans in China stay true to their American tendencies (and spend money), or is there something in the Chinese air [besides all those carbon molecules] that would turn any online banker into an unbridled blogger?
